OMD

The Office of the Medical Director (OMD) is tasked to provide medical direction and oversight for MedStar Mobile Healthcare and network of participating 911 First Responder Organizations (FROs). OMD views itself as an integral part of this system, and not an external force applied to the system.

Purpose

To enhance patient outcomes by improving systems and educating clinicians.

To be an integral member of a high-quality, evidenced-based, and outcome-driven mobile healthcare system.

Mission

To build quality into the mobile healthcare system through the enrichment of clinicians.
